The Tazeez Initiative to Empower Palestinian Youth
The Ta’zeez Initiative is a community initiative that contributes to activating social and humanitarian responsibility.
The Ta’zeez Initiative is a Palestinian initiative implemented by the Nawras Group in partnership with the Higher Innovation Academy.
The initiative’s concept is to launch a project targeting young Palestinian men and women, including housewives and elderly men capable of participating and successfully fulfilling the initiative’s requirements. This project will provide them with a new window into artificial intelligence, programming, digital marketing, social media management, graphic design, and computer science skills.
This aligns with the 17 UN Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Education without Borders), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
The initiative aims to boost the country’s economic momentum and increase the motivation of Palestinian youth to work and learn professions that generate income to support themselves and their families. This helps prevent delinquency due to financial difficulties and opens a bright gateway of hope for a proper entry into the labor market, leading to a dignified life and a better future.
1000 Palestinian youth
Investing in the training of Palestinian youth is not just a social duty; it is an investment in Palestine’s future and development. The project targets 1,000 Palestinian youth of both genders, who are selected and categorized for enrollment in training programs according to criteria specific to each program.
Building a strong and sustainable community
Training Palestinian youth is not just a means of improving employment opportunities; it empowers their capabilities by developing skills, boosting self-confidence, and stimulating innovation. Youth training is a catalyst for positive change and sustainable development in Palestine. It is an essential tool for addressing current and future challenges facing Palestinian youth and contributing to building a strong and sustainable society.
Objectives of the Tazeez Initiative
- Providing 1,000 young Palestinians with skills that will make them more competitive in the job market.
- Empowering young people to join the labor market by training them on how to register and join freelance platforms.
- Training helps young people acquire new skills and develop existing ones, enabling them to achieve greater independence in their careers.
- Encouraging young people to think creatively and find innovative solutions to the problems they face, which could lead to the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises that boost the local economy.
- With job opportunities scarce, entrepreneurship training is an important tool to enable young people to start their own businesses and achieve self-sufficiency.
- The training helps Palestinian youth keep pace with technological developments, enabling them to participate in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
- Contributing to activating the role of youth in participating in and developing their communities, whether through volunteer work or leading community initiatives.
- The training provides youth with the opportunity to develop leadership skills and community awareness, enhancing their ability to positively impact their communities.
